Government schools need facelift if they are to compete with Private schools. Panjab Government is commited to the cause of promoting education in particular for the downtrodden section of the society.
It is under such commitment that Akali-BJP Government has selected Goverment School at Karampura located in E-Block of Ranjit Avenue as one the MODEL/ADARSH Schools. State-of-the-Art facilities
would be made available in these schools with liberal Grants. With these views MLA Anil Joshi ,in a function on 4 march, also exhorted the Staff Members of the School to fight against Social evils like Female feticide and Drug addiction and help strenthening of value based society.
