CONGRATS AMRITSARITES FOR SAVING HISTORIC RAM BAGH GARDENS

Ram Bagh Gardens of  the Holy City Amritsar is also popularly known as Company Gardens. The garden is closely assossiated with the name of the great ruler of Punjab- Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The maintainence of gardens is in the hands of Archeological Survey of India (ASI). But, ASI was not doing its job properly. So,we had to initate an agressive signature campaign in which thousands of people participated and a memorandum was submited to DC Amtisar. A meeting was convened at chandigarh in which representatives of ASI also participated. As a result, today we see hectic cleanliness activities going on to restore beautifiaction of the gardens.Truly, its peoples' victory.  Always remember-Together we can bring the change we want to see.
